As a loyal patron for over twelve years, I can confidently say that Hillstone in University Park consistently exceeds expectations, earning its well-deserved five-star rating. The spinach artichoke dip is simply unrivaled; its creamy texture and perfect blend of flavors make it an irresistible starter every time. The salmon and toast dish is a true standout, showcasing the chef's mastery with its impeccable seasoning and tender, flaky fish. And let's not forget about the Hawaiian steak--a cut above the rest, it's succulent, juicy, and bursting with flavor. While the wait may sometimes stretch to an hour, every minute is worth it for the culinary experience that awaits. Hillstone in University Park has become more than just a restaurant--it's a cherished tradition and a guarantee of exceptional dining.

I have been coming here since 2005 for every anniversary's or something special celebrating with my bf. Now that I'm a career woman, I buy my own steak whenever I want. Sometimes I crave a rack of ribs and sometimes I want the Hawaiian ribeye. Anything is good here tbh. I tend to stick to my usual most of the time, Hawaiian ribeye. Smoked salmon and grilled artichoke are also good starters. Make reservation or else you'll be waiting along time. Here is my order: iced tea with simple syrup, Hawaiian ribeye-medium with a baked potato (only available during dinner) or fries for lunch

Always great food and great options on the menu. I would recommend getting there early or be ready to wait a very long time. We had the cheeseburger and loved it. Tito's is great.

The hillstone restaurants have my most favorite sandwich. Their French dip made with rare shaved prime rib is worth the hefty price tag. I do have to say that the French dip is better at the Houston and Austin locations than what I had here in Dallas.

Disregard the 31/2 Star review average...it's just not accurate. The place is always 100% full of people in the know. All around me last night Dallasites were enjoying everything from enormous hamburgers to grilled Salmon. Chopped salads, steaks... something for everyone. As for me,you guessed it. Another perfect steak. However, tonight it was beyond good. I've been having the Hawaiian ribeye here for 30 years. Never the slightest question of good. Somewhere recently they've upgraded to prime beef. It's superb and tonight's steak is the best I've ever had here. Not only that, one of the top steaks of my life. I think this is my last update for a while. I'm afraid of increasing the business until I can't get a table!

Went here this weekend for the first time because my friend from out of town LOVES the fish sandwich. We had reservations around 3 and I thought that may not be necessary because it was such a weird lunch time. I was wrong as the place was packed! Definitely try and get a reservation here if you can. The ambience is great, feels very luxurious and smells great inside. There is a nice long bench for waiting and plenty of parking in the area. Service was wonderful, our waiter was attentive and nice! Just what you would expect at a nice restaurant like this. Food was amazing!! I got a burger and as much as it pained me to pay that much for a burger, it was really good. It tasted SO FRESH. I asked for a side of ranch and the waiter said they had some sort of garlic ranch so I got that and it was BOMB. Was more garlicky than ranch but I was not complaining. The fries were yummy in the ranch but pretty plain with out it, which was a little disappointing. My friend of course loved his fish sandwich as that's why we came to the restaurant in the first place. My other friend got the ruby star salad that she said was great! Very salmon heavy which makes the price more palatable for a salad. Definitely will be coming back!
